Aerdyn
Sai Torgoth
Western Sai Torgoth was settled by the Aôlerian during their second migration. In Aôleric, it means “new homeland”.
Af’kir
Rarely referred to by its formal name, Af’kir is more commonly known as The Land of the Ancients. This long, narrow, curved continent was home to some of the oldest civilizations on Jhordunne: the reptilian Ch’kari in Ankre Ssaln, the Aôlerian in Toriath, and the Chthonic Empire in what is now called Chthonia. Finally, there is Maelgrimme, filled with fearsome beasts and said to be home to the last of the Dragons.
Toriath
With its fertile valleys, dense forests, and stunning mountains, Toriath is a beauty to behold, and is the home of the Aelferii (once the Aôlerian) on Jhordunne. In Aôleric, Toriath means the “land of the cradle”. The Aôlerian settled there after they left Ankre Ssaln and the Nashalan jungles.
Ankre Ssaln
Ancestral home of the Ch’kari. Once a great empire, spanning the globe, the Ch’kari now hide in their crumbling cities, within the impenetrable jungles.
Chthonia
The center of a once-massive Chthonic Empire, Chthonia now lies in ruins. Small kingdoms squabble over what remains of the empire, each claiming to be its rightful heir – even nearly two millennia after its fall.
Maelgrimme
Maelgrimme is a dangerous and foreboding place. Filled with deadly plants and beasts, the land is no place for the weak. It is said that the last of the Dragons reside in mountains at the center of Maelgrimme, although no one living can confirm this.
Norfell and Kh’druin
Norfell
Although Norfell and Kh’druin are part of the same continent, they are generally regarded as two separate islands. Norfell is rugged tundra and snow and ice-covered plains. Norfell is home to two large tribes of humans – the Kendarii and the Isar – both violent and warlike people. Corruption from eastern Azerion has seeped into the very stones of Norfell and population of the island long ago turned to dark gods. Although the two tribes often clash with each other, more often the Kendarii are raiding the northeast coast of Azerion, while the Isar turn their eyes towards the lost riches of Kh’druin
Kh’druin
Kh’druin is the ancestral home of both the Dwarves and the Ogres. Largely abandoned after the fall of Eastern Azerion to Corruption, only the fortress-city of Gh’keran still stands against the tide of fell beasts that swarmed over the land. The plains of the Ogres and the mountain halls of the Dwarves are now the abode of the Corrupted.
The Ogres settled in what is now misty Quanshai. They now command the most formidable navy on Jhardunne, known for hiring out their ships to defend foreign vessels as they are for plundering them.
The Dwarves spread across Azerion, building their great cities in the mountain ranges. Those of the Khun mountains are in constant warfare with the Corrupted of the Cursed Steppes, to the west and the Delkar Wastes, to the east, as well as their kin who have fallen to darkness. The Dwarves who settled in the Nordensteinen have become insular and distrustful of outsiders, ready to shut their gates forever. In the Avermauren, the Dwarves have become shrewd merchants and craftsmen, known as much for their brown, fiery liquor – Br’ban as for their armor and weapons.
